RIF4UA – Scaling-up Integrated Services within Resilience and Innovation Facilities for Ukrainian Refugees Inclusion
The Brașov Agency for Sustainable Development, acting as a partner, is implementing the "RIF4UA – Scaling-up Integrated Services within Resilience and Innovation Facilities for Ukrainian Refugees Inclusion" project from May 2025 to July 2026. The project is being carried out alongside project leader Terre des hommes Romania Foundation (Tdh RO) and project partner Terre des hommes Hungary Foundation (Tdh HU).
The project received a grant of 646,001 euros, of which 104,557 euros were allocated to the Brașov County Sustainable Development Agency.
The RIF4UA project supports the integration of Ukrainian refugees in Romania and Hungary through social, educational, and skills development services.
Implemented in Brașov and Budapest, the project aims to improve Ukrainian refugees' access to the labor market and facilitate social inclusion through RIF (Resilience and Innovation Facilities) centers. These centers will offer specialized support through multidisciplinary teams, educational programs for children, and professional training opportunities for adults. This will contribute to the socio-economic integration of refugees, including their entry into the labor market, by recognizing their qualifications in the host countries.
Expected results:
• Improved access for Ukrainian refugees to social and educational/vocational services.
• Enhanced skills needed for employment among Ukrainian refugees in Romania and Hungary.
• Increased access for Ukrainian refugees to the labor market in both countries.
• Improved cooperation among local actors to facilitate the social and economic inclusion of Ukrainian refugees.
