Brașov Agency for Sustainable Development (ADDJB), together with Spiru Haret University (USH) carry out the project “PROmoters of your firm (PROFIT) – for the central region”, based on financing contract POCU/82/3.7/104254 from 12.01.2018, financed through Operational Program Human Capital 2014-2020, priority axes 3 – Jobs for everyone, thematic objective 3.7, Increasing employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in the urban area.
Total project value: 8.722.301,38 lei from which 5.649.811,20 lei is minimis aid.
Project duration: 36 months
The project aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and establishment of a new business in the central region (Brașov, Sibiu, Mureș, Covasna, Harghita and Alba counties). Integrated activities are foreseen for initiating and developing new businesses in various non-agricultural domains from urban areas. 336 people will benefit from training programs in the field of entrepreneurship; 36 individuals will receive grants worth maximum 35.000 euro each, for implementing the proposed business plans.
Financing the business plans within the “PROmoters of your firm (PROFIT) – for the central region” project will generate a minimum of 72 jobs (at least 2 for each initiated and developed business) in the implementing stage of the plans and maintaining them for more than 6 months. Moreover, businesses which propose implementing ICT measures in the production process/ goods supply, services/construction, will be encouraged.
